The Alpaca outline measures about 11" tall X 8 3/4" wide

The Alpaca shape with heart cut out is about 10" tall X 7 3/4" wide.

Laser cut from 1/8" thick birch wood. Ready to paint and weave into your unique creation.

Allow about 200" of yarn for warping the Alpaca outline and 40" for warping the heart. This will give you extra length to tie off or weave in. I like to string my warp with one continuous piece, tie off one end, then pull each string tight finishing by tying off the other end. Sometimes you'll need to zip along the back to get from hole to hole but it won't show once you weave it up! I've included an example of a warped loom for your inspiration.

The amount of yarn needed for weaving will vary depending on size of yarn, thread, floss, or fiber used. I like to work with manageable lengths of yarn to not get tangled up; usually something within my arm span is ideal. Be creative! Thicker yarns will weave up faster than thin ones and can be a little more forgiving. Experiment with textures and patterns for fun designs.
